This page with has links to diaries and reflections, and to sites with family interest and others we like with no other obvious home on the site.

Our site name and logo originate in the wordplay "M'n'J en France" (yes all right, it does not quite work in either language but it seemed a good idea at the time!), and then the pictorial representation of the letters mnj in the outline of the country.  But neatly, the symbol we chose is also the astrological one for Virgo which is the birth sign for both of us, and is part of a set of 12 in the Almanac typeface we have on our computer (you can type pictures of phases of the moon and of the astrological signs as well as lots more with this typeface).  Here are all 12 symbols from the typeface, starting with Aires;

More on the zodiac on Wikipedia of course; it's appropriate for us to have some astrological connection on our site because Mary's sister Jane has worked in the field for much of her life.
