In October 2006 we made some wonderful short trips to Devon, Wales and Scotland, and can heartily recommend accommodation at:

Lloyney Mill - B&B near Ludlow and almost on Offa's Dyke, run by friends.

Balcary Bay Hotel - on the Solway Firth coast in Dumfries & Galloway, a few yards from an estuary shore, with superb food and dog-friendly.

South View Hotel in Torquay - small comfortable and welcoming, also dog-friendly.
